Endo
David Capone, known by his artist name, Endo, is a rapper born in Philadelphia. He attended Drexel University, where he began freestyling with friends and recording himself with a microphone he purchased his freshman year. With a naturally deep voice, his sound is aggressive and hard-hitting, which stems from his original love of rock music. Endo seeks to evoke feelings through the use of deep metaphors and a humanistic viewpoint to ensure that his music can relate to all people. When he is not rapping, Endo practices MMA plays a variety of sports and loves film. His favorite quote is, “Speak softly and carry a big stick,” from Theodore Roosevelt. Although he doesn’t compare himself to any other rappers, he admires Vince Stapes and Danny Brown because of their unique style and takes on rap music. Endo wants his music to enlighten and educate the public, which he believes is what makes him a new, emerging force in rap music.
